I have it!
I still have the gunge fight with Bex on my old mobile. Not sure if it's appropriateness on here tho!
I have some great memories of the work I got involved in with the WIRE and especially Extreme. Mark, Jon and Bex were truly my inspiration in my work with young people and I only hope that I can be half a good a youth worker as they are and touch peoples lives in the very specail way they have. Thak you for welcoming me in to the WIRE family x

Laura

Life Changing!
Life changing
I know I am not the first to make this statement but these two words sum up how I feel about my “special friend” that was The Wire. It has, without doubt, been the greatest privilege of my entire life to be part of this incredible organisation. I have met the most amazing, passionate, kind, humble people and they have changed the way I look at life forever. I started working with The Wire almost from the start and truly believe that my skills and life experience have been enhanced in a way that I could never imagine. I cam on board and was asked to support the them but in fact I know that I gained as much from the people there - both staff and volunteers as they did from me for which I am eternally grateful.

I still feel that I am in morning for the loss of such a remarkable organisation but I know that the legacy lives on – long live The Wire and from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

Police escort on Crew
The minibus donated to the WIRE broke down on crew. A few girls had a punch up on & off a major road, a passing police car stopped to help, ended up giving the minibus which was now being towed by Al's classic VW van a police escort back to Wickbourne. The Crew were amused, embarressed and quiet all the way back.

The wire was great
What a privalge to lead a project like the wire. Fun, life changeing, friendship creating and informing it had it all. Thanks to you if you gave time as a volunteer to make the project the success it was.
